Sold Tjalk . Dutch Barge - Floating Home ‘Silk Purse’ - Belgium

Description

This Tjalk is a much loved barge, extensively thought-out and designed for a comfortable live aboard ship, great in all climates, designed by two professional seagoing sailors.

This is a very unique and quirky barge which just oozes character making her a complete one-off. The interior is just totally unlike any other barge and makes her an absolute MUST-SEE BARGE. SilkPurse would be equally at home gently cruising through Europe as she has been doing or as a cozy live aboard with the definite WOW factor on a City Mooring.

This Tjalk is a much loved barge, extensively thought-out and designed for a comfortable live aboard ship, great in all climates, designed by two professional seagoing sailors. She can go to sea (with good planning) and she has crossed the English Channel twice and traveled the canals and rivers of Europe. The owners are downsizing to another seagoing vessel as they want to do more coastal sailing. We are sure there are many details we have forgot to add.
